We Did Something We'd Never Done Before — And It Changed Everything

Last Thursday, something extraordinary happened in sunny Tsawwassen....quietly.
A small group of women sat down together to network, enjoy a meal, and learn a new skill.
This was our Never Eat Alone launch event, and we talked about AI.
We started with a round table introduction about ourselves, shared our current knowledge of AI and came in with intention to learn and lean on each other about this hot topic.
Just women, a table, and the kind of conversation most of us have been starving for.
That was the first ever sheBIZ Never Eat Alone Lunch & Learn — and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.
Why I Created This
I've built five businesses. I've sat in countless networking events, handed out business cards, smiled through small talk, and driven home feeling more alone than when I arrived.
Because here's what nobody tells you about building a business: the hardest part isn't the strategy, or the marketing, or the money. It's the isolation.
It's making enormous decisions with no one to talk them through with. It's carrying the weight of your vision while the people around you — even the ones who love you — don't quite understand what you're building or why it costs you so much.
I started sheBIZ because I lived that isolation. And then I lost almost everything — my businesses, my mother, my sense of self — and realized that what I needed most, in those darkest moments, wasn't another business coach or another online course.
I needed a room full of women who got it.
So I built one.
This Is Just the Beginning
The Never Eat Alone series is sheBIZ's CEO Blueprint program presented over 6 months. Each module is broken down into 2 sessions - a CEO Masterclass and then a Roundtable, every month, designed to give you the clarity, community, and momentum to keep going.
Because you shouldn't have to eat alone. Not literally. Not figuratively. Not ever.
Our next event is coming. Details dropping soon.
And if last Thursday taught me anything, it's that the right room changes everything.
Want to be in the next room? Join the sheBIZ community at shebiz.ca and be the first to know when doors open. We will begin in January 2027 and cap it at 25 female founders.
